Hurricane Sandy 24 on Flickr. A few boats around the harbor broke loose and washed ashore. The worse news however is that stone wall is supposed to be vertical. It’s supposed to hold the road and utility poles in place. The poles are leaning over and are not secure, and I can guess the road will also be out for a while. I didn’t get a close look down the whole length of the road but I could see in the distance that the guard rail has been smashed in several places, probably from debris or loose boats.
