I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone more comfortable on the High Line. I think one of the biggest allures of the park is that everyone can have an experience as if they have their own little ‘penthouse in the clouds’.

Barefoot on Flickr.
I’ve walked past this water feature many times and usually the barefoot ones are only about three feet tall. Seeing this group of guys having a chat in the water was a bit of a surprise. There is a distinct lack of childishness in adults these days. Many people would probably be much more relaxed (especially in New York) if every now and then they took off their shoes and splashed around in the water.
