Pink balloons, pink glasses, pink champagne, and a lot of great people who care about art.
Later this month, artist Yazmany Arboleda and a team of Afghani volunteers will surprise Kabul commuters with 10,000 pink balloons. This past Monday, the public was able to join in on the project with the 10,000 Balloons Pop Up at Ludlow Studios. Everyone got to write and sign personal messages to Kabul. Artist Paul Zepeda was also commissioned to create a one-of-a-kind pink goldleaf painting that was auctioned off with the proceeds going to support the balloons and the brand-new Ludlow Space.
